Composing

During my time at HSLU, I not only studied the piano but also did the Minor Media Composer. There, I learned how to write commercial music for film, advertising or video games. As I am also interested in Sounddesign, I also learned, how to do that.

My goal with my compositions is always to keep the human element in the music. The more compositions I did, the more I realized, that letting music breathe and having this human randomization, the less ordinary it sounds. When everything is quantized, the human surprise is missing.

To achieve this, I focus a lot on sound design and midi programming. If the music includes acoustic instruments, I try to incorporate not only multiple samples, but also real, acoustic instruments. With my collection of synthesizers, I am well equipped to produce any electronic sounds imaginable.

Also sound design for games and films or foley-work I am able to do and like doing. Check out my Showreel to see a selection out of my commercial work.
